Bruins place Moore and Wagner on waivers today. Even though both have had decent camps, I think this move was going to happen for numerous reasons. One for cap space, either they get claimed (doubtful but never know) or pass waivers and are sent to the AHL in Providence. That's the hard part of being a depth guy, really your always a year or so of getting bumped. Just the slight fall off and a younger guy is ready to go. They both seem to be great guys and teammates. Moore has had a rough go with injuries and Wagner just looks a little slower than he did in his first year in Boston. Could they get claimed, possible but with the cap being pretty tight, I suspect they will end up in Providence. Either way, it gives the Bruins about 4 million in cap space.
