Bruins Will Be tested Next Three games

The Bruins next 3 games starting tonight in Florida will be a true measuring stick to see where this team is . The Panthers are undefeated and playing very well . They have been pegged as cup favorites entering this season and so far have played like it . They have a quick strike offense and can make you pay if you making any glaring errors and lose coverage. The next game in this back to back is against the still undefeated Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes play a fast paced game , with a quick forecheck and they shoot the puck a lot . High end talent up front and solid D with good goaltending will make it tough for Boston in a back to back.

Then to finish off this week , they will be at home for the 2nd meeting of the Panthers this week . So a truly tough week but one that will help show both strengths and weaknesses more than likely. If they can take at least 3 points , that would be a solid outing . Two wins would be excellent and 3 , well lets not get ahead of ourselves , although one can hope.

If they are to be successful tonight  , puck management will be crucial. Not giving up too many turnovers , stopping the Panthers speed through the neutral zone , solid forecheck and sound defensive zone play will be needed. Plus Ulmark who is getting the start will need to be sharp because he will face some high-end shots. Staying out of the penalty box as well . Panthers have too much talent not to burn you . If we get a powerplay , make it count . The other thing I would like to see , the 2nd line click . Studnicka is in tonight and will be centering . So a time for him to show what he can do .

But all the prep and talking means little , the game is played on the ice . So lets gets it one and go Bruins !
